They were pretty easy to install. I don't know yet how well they work as we haven't to a trailer out From stock there are two things: the cable that is hardwired to the camera has a cable with a 1/2" plug so you have to drill a 1/2" hole to put it in to get your van or a little smaller hole and leave the plug and about 8" of cable on the outside of the van. It would be better if the cable connected directly to the camera and put the raw end of the cable through the 1/4" "Inch hole would be led.

The only thing I didn't like was that the passenger side camera didn't have a sync button on the outside of the camera. I haven't used the system at night yet.

I am very happy with this product. This gives me extra security when I'm on the road. There is a slight lag (usually a small one) but I always use the camera first and then the mirror. I bought an extended antenna but didn't even connect it because it does its job well.

Cameras installed on the side marker lights in front of the motorhome. The picture is good, but a few seconds behind real time until the moment it appears on the screen in the truck, when in my mirror I saw 3 cars approaching me in the next lane, but when the first appeared, like the back of a mobile home on the screen, all 3 cars were already in front of the truck.

No! I had a 26-foot trailer behind a 2015 Silverado Crew Cab, and as soon as I started moving, it got jittery. Almost not good once on the track. The side cameras, just 10 feet from the monitor, barely worked. Then I tried an external antenna on a monitor I placed on the roof. Has barely worked. Too bad I couldn't return them but I bought them 4 months before our first trip.
