Hamilton Beach French Press with Frothing Attachment: A 1 Liter Glass Brewer for Coffee, Hot Chocolate, or Tea (40400R) Review

This attachment is a game changer when it comes to making the perfect mocha at home. Based on my experience, it is easy to use and produces delicious chocolatey goodness. It is also perfect for making hot cocoa for my kids. The only con is that it doesn't fit all types of coffee makers. Overall, an excellent addition to my Home and Kitchen.

I will only use this model. Size, ease of use, durability - all far superior to other French presses. Tried the stainless steel one, it was $40 and the coffee had a metallic taste. It takes no longer than drip coffee makers, just boil water, pour, stir, I personally wait 4 minutes, squeeze and it's the best coffee I've ever had in my life. Just had a few drinks and at 6:30 am excited enough to write a review.

I like it. However, I selected the wrong size press to purchase. 12 ounces wasn't enough for a large cup of coffee, but this one is way too big. The press doesn't actually "squeeze" the coffee grounds because they don't reach the bottom of the carafe. I have not yet brewed a liter of coffee in it, but I think that the press compresses such an amount of ground coffee. However, it makes a nice smooth cup of coffee and I would definitely recommend it. Update: Broke in less than a year.
