Worked great for 8 months

Completes the task of freezing leftover food. However, if you are packaging dried beans or rice or similar for waterproof/airtight storage, camping or whatever, note that after about 20 consecutive uses it will stop sucking until it sits for about 30 minutes. However, after about 8 months he became even more unstable. Now at 10 months it is used about 7 times before rest is required. Not very suitable for a survivalist or do-it-yourself camper.

I like it! at Specialty Appliances

When I received the vacuum sealer I put it off for a few days because I had never used it and didn't know what to expect. FOUNTAIN! The day I decided to finally use it. My my! Why have I waited? It's very easy! The instructions are well written and easy to understand. I sealed three packages of beef patties that I had cooked and frozen a few days earlier, in addition to the six servings of chicken breasts (not frozen) that were in the marinade. Took less than 30 minutes. This included reading…

Easy individual cooking.

In the past, I bought nice summer foods like watermelon-sized zucchini and ate those zucchini for a week to keep them from spoiling. Or forego a great looking London BBQ because it can feed a family of 4 for 3 days. Now, after going to the grocery store, I unwrap my meat, cook and personalize my portions with a vacuum sealer. This reduces waste, keeps food fresh and makes eating easier. Thumbs up Hamilton Beach!

Excellent product, suitable for special machines

After many years of using the Food Saver, he died. They didn't have my original so I ordered a different type of food saver. It wasn't good, I sent it back. Then I ordered a different type of food saver, the same one, so I sent it back. I finally considered buying a Hamilton Beach Sealer. OMG I liked it! It stores the bun, it has momentum so you can suck up biscuits and bread as you break it. Another thing is that it seals without suction. This is the best! It has a permanent place on my…

No more food waste!

Now you can buy in bulk even if you are single, as the excess can be sealed in separate bags for small portions. I love that you can even freeze liquids and then seal them into individual servings or keep a pot of soup in the freezer - not a pot! I make my own "TV Dinners!" I just wish I had that while breastfeeding. It's perfect for moms who want to make their own baby food and even pet owners who like to save leftovers to share with their pets. It will be fantastic for holiday leftovers!

Simple, functional, efficient. No fuss, no fuss.

I vacuum pack a lot of the groceries I order online, especially delicatessen from around the world. I don't remember getting stuck with FoodSaver, but that's about all I've been using for a long time. The last generation, fourth generation for me, was terrible. It was probably automatic. I've never figured out how to get it to work well. It was slow and never sucked all the air out completely. I struggled with this for a year, contacted tech support and all I got were some general…
