Works great! For a long time I doubted the purchase, since I originally intended to buy leather. When it came down to it, I decided to save money and go with nylon. It didn't disappoint. It is durable, high quality and beautiful in appearance. This works well for my daughter to use as a leash for her show goat. I would buy it again.

It's perfect! Many years ago at FFA I had goats and several of these nylon lines. My dog is medium sized and wears a harness. He usually keeps close and I got tired of me and him getting tangled in the leash as we ran from the car to the office, where I needed a little hold to keep him close. I immediately thought of those wires. I don't use it for its intended purpose, but it's still high quality and usable. The brass latch feels solid and the spring doesn't feel cheap to me.

I actually got this as a guide dog for my service dog. I like that it's not too long but long enough for me to stand up straight. About a week after I got him, the neighbor's dog came out and he's a big, heavy boy. ! Good thing it's made for goats, most dog leashes snap or are too flimsy and cut your hand. It did nothing of the kind! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a strong short loop leash, be it for dogs or small livestock.
