Works great without causing anything other than slight discomfort. My dog now walks behind me, on my heels, which is much safer for both of us. My collars arrived early and we are fine.

I put it on my dog and went to get the leash but it fell apart. Then I started over with the leash tied and the dog noticed. No more idiots, no more idiots. I decided to do them on two leashes, the second on a harness. I don't know if I can trust him not to fall apart on a setback.

I've never been a big fan of these collars, especially when people haven't learned how to use them properly. Need to order extra links for our large dog and a carabiner to keep the pong out of the face when removed. I also ordered a collar with shorter pins so as not to injure the respiratory or neck muscles. Only used a few times to teach a very large rescue dog not to pull. Use it when you don't know how to place the collar to avoid hurting your dog!

I was looking for a cheap spiked collar for my Siberian Husky. He knows how to tug on the leash when he sees another dog or cat. It seriously works, I bought a shock collar hoping it would work on him but it didn't work, I didn't expect this spiked collar to work but it works!
