OK for the price

I bought this as a starter kit to get started with embossing and embossing complemented by some prettier individual powder compacts. To say there is a noticeable difference in quality would be a gross understatement. They take forever to cure, don't cure evenly, become opaque, etc. IF they cure at all. I'm convinced that some of them aren't even really embossing powders, especially the metallic colors. I ended up throwing them away because they didn't work well. Silver, especially, crumbles…

I highly recommend it!

I'm glad I ordered this. especially for those who wanted to try to mint in colors other than the traditional ones (gold and silver). All of the colors that came in are pretty good except for two that look a bit odd compared to the picture. I personally find these 2 colors too pastel compared to the others. The bottles are smaller than here but the amount of embossing powder you get is worth the price as other brands are much more expensive for the same amount. I recommend this for both those of

Good but not great. Still a good buy for a beginner!

I bought this set when I decided to use thermal stamping in my paper designs. Some of these colors are better than others. All are very nice colors but some pigments do not melt well and disperse poorly when heated. I think it has more to do with the different substances used in each pigment than the brand itself, but I wasn't trying to compare expensive embossing powders. Metal pigments melt most evenly.
