Decent quality but definitely less

I installed them on my SSR SR250S and here is my experience. Build quality and hardware seem decent. The problem I have is that it's almost unusable on my bike (a full size 250cc dirt bike). It's pretty small! You barely let go of the clutch handle. The handlebar clamp is also tight. I definitely recommend them for smaller to medium sized bikes. I would look for a larger set for full size bikes.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Good but not great

Decent handguard for the price!

No wonder they are cheaper. They're not perfect, but for $30 they're decently made. Installed on a 2018 CRF250L. The left hand can only be installed by drilling/cutting a hole in the side of the handle large enough to accommodate the extension piece. However, I had to cut off the entire side of the right grip to avoid grip-to-grip friction preventing the throttle sticking. You will also need to drill through the surface of the white plastic part of the handle at the end of the right handle.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other picks

They're cheap and they work

You get what you pay for, but they work. It wasn't a perfect fit, the fasteners were a little loose on the bars. The guards themselves are smooth and even, they look good too. I wanted them to be a little tighter than her, but that turned out to be a plus; When felling a large tree, it knocks the guard aside but doesn't tip the bike over while protecting my hands and levers. After that it was easy to tighten them again. Aluminum is cheap and I stripped the threads fairly easily when trying to…

Very good value for money, best choice for motorcycles and power sports

These handguards are really great value. The hardware is not outstanding, but sufficient. One of the small Allen head screws holding the handlebars was rounded into the hex on my part without much effort. Luckily they were there when I installed them, so I haven't had to deal with them yet. I installed them on a 2015 Grom as part of a dual sport mod that has proven very successful. The brake levers I have are quite large so I had to add shims and longer brackets to the pivot on the inside of…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • High price

They come with no instructions, not even a picture. If your bike doesn't already have a similar handguard, then additional work is required and this may take some time to sort out. Both handlebars will need to be cut off at the ends and the throttle tube may need to be drilled or cut off. end of the rod. The outer clamps are articulated so they can be adjusted, but that also makes them a bit bulky. My bike has tapered handlebars so I used a 1" clamp adapter and a 7/8" collet. I put them on a…
