Packaging was broken and beads were everywhere. This is the second time they have arrived this way. I bought the same item at Walmart two months ago for $10 less! The paint is still of good quality.

Great product, easy to use, a nice blend of beeswax and damar resin. This is a softer blend. So if you want a harder clear coat you will either need to add more damar, mix your own mix or buy another mix with more damar.

Seems expensive, but for a while. And it is very pure and almost colorless. In addition, the pellets are easy to use as they melt fairly quickly. (I used to make my own encaustic media to save money. It's a tedious, messy process and doesn't melt as quickly because it's a big piece.) R&F media is worth the money to me.

I have previously bought a 1 pound test bag, used it and loved it. My black and white photo caustic looked amazing. So I bought a two pound sack. Unfortunately I didn't have time to test it right away, so it's too late to return it. But it's TERRIBLE. It's a very yellow color regardless of my temperature, which is perfect. I'm sad because I can't even use the bag for these projects.
