This solves my arthritis and trigger finger problem

I was looking for something to open jars for myself as I have arthritis in my hands and two trigger fingers which makes opening jars painful and difficult. I've looked at wedge openers but they still require hand strength. I also looked at the one mounted under the top cabinet, but I still need some force to rotate the glass. I've never seen one of these openers before, but have been impressed by videos showing it working on its own. It does the work I could do before.

This is a nifty little but powerful can opener.

What I liked is that after I installed two batteries in the can opener, my wife called me from the kitchen and bragged about how well the opener worked. She thanked me for bringing it home to us and later I found it right in front of the drawer we keep things like that in, not hidden where you have to look around while holding other things. And she questioning; or yelling all over the house, where's the new can opener? It's "women's talk" in my house, here it is. I also like that it's small…

I bought this because I can't open jars anymore as I have arthritis in my hands. This is really great work. Only once did it not eat and I think there was some oil on the can. Cleaned up well and no more problems. It opens the cans that are really hard to open! However, I would caution against holding the jar on the bottom and being prepared for a loud pop as it breaks the suction and opens the lid. One thing I didn't like was trying to stop it. I still can't figure it out - all I have to do is

May not be working properly

I bought this item because I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and sometimes find it difficult to open bottles and cans. The product worked fine and I was pretty happy with it until today it shut down. I tried to open a can of cheese, the head of the can opened but the product continued and didn't stop. The only way I could stop this was by removing the batteries. I change the batteries but it keeps getting tighter and tighter, it won't come off so I can use it again on another can. And
