These shuttles are much better for weaving than those wrapped with thread. You can fill as many bobbins as you want so you don't have to break the chain thread when the bobbin runs out.

It's amazing how much a tatting shuttle can make a difference. As a newbie to tatting, I've found that stuffing hooks with a spool is much quicker than other styles. This shuttle is lightweight and the built-in hook is very convenient. This is my favourite, I love it!
