Hanes Boxer Tartan Medium Colors Boys' Clothing: Stylish Comfort for Your Little Man Review

My husband and two boys have worn Hanes boxers for years and my son asked me to try them again order. When I opened the package, I was greeted by a strong chemical smell. I thought it would come out in the wash but no. I take them outside hoping they release gas but I hope not the smell is that strong. I assume I can't return them as I washed them. If so, I can just throw them away. Very disappointing as we have been buying basically the same Hanes boxers for years.

Bought for my 7 year old thin but tall son (who usually wears a size 8-10 with a drawstring that fits around the waist). We wanted to use them as pajama bottoms. I originally ordered the medium which should have been a size 10-12 but should fit a size 8 or smaller.
