To be honest after reading other reviews I chose XL (mainly because it's a kids hoodie) and I'm very happy with it. If you're a teenager looking for a larger zip, I'd recommend going for the XL if you're 5 inches or under. I'm 5" 3" and wear XL, it's like going from XS to S; just a little difference in size. That being said, I wouldn't recommend ingesting it due to the oversized feeling.

This hanes zip up sweatshirt is perfect for my daughter's school uniform. They are soft, stretchy and thick but not heavy. Easy to close and has a cute little phone pocket. Will definitely buy again!

Hanes makes a great product. Everything about it was good except for the length. YL (14-16) which I usually buy was too short.

I ordered a large for boys based on recommendations and it was tiny, about two sizes too small. This is also bad quality. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I read that another reviewer states that this is an excellent Brandy Melville ($50) for a fraction of the price and I couldn't help but agree. I originally bought the kid's version for my 10 year old and then my 13 year old decided she needed one as she was almost 5ft 9" (5ft 9") tall. I chose the big one and she loved it! I bought it myself and couldn't be happier. They all came in just one day with first class shipping :-)

I bought the medium size for my 10 year old and it was too small. I would increase the size! Otherwise everything was as in the photo and in the description.

I liked the material of the product, soft and cozy, like a huge hug. My son has sensory issues but loved the jacket with the sweatpants.

The hooded sweatshirt is perfect for fall! It fits perfectly under another jacket when it's cooler and warms when it's not that cold. It has a roomier fit which is nice as it can last longer for kids. This sweatshirt is also very soft with a good sized hood.

It turned out very soft and light! Of course it was warm so it's not thin enough to feel like a shirt. Overall it's really good quality ^-^

Small size - I bought it for my son, it broke. It's in 10-12, which is often big, but not in every brand. I bought him medium based on the numerical sizes in the size chart. It hardly suits him. Otherwise the quality meets my expectations for this price.

I ordered it in two sizes. One, medium, came as expected. The other, smaller one, was not a Hanes sweatshirt but a fake made from a different material.
