Received today, glad to have them and decided to wash them to see if they get soft. noooo. They come back, Hanes should be ashamed to sell these shirts. who can wear them smh. just terrible raw material. I blame myself for buying it for not reading the reviews, I assumed it was Hanes, they make soft linen and I believed it would be just as soft. They fit well, stretch a bit, the fabric is terrible. Save your money, time sense. Don't buy them.

The material is only slightly softer than burlap. I've never had Hanes shirts so rough and itchy. My son doesn't even wear it. I think that's a misclassification as these aren't really long sleeve t-shirts - they're more of a sweatshirt and not comfortable. Totally agree with the reviewer mentioning the sticky texture. Even after multiple washes, the fabric stays smooth and the cuffs and neck still have an oddly tacky texture. I will not buy again.

Overall I like these shirts for my son. I took a chance because the reviews weren't very good. They said the material is scratched. It's not the softest, but it's 100% cotton and feels like a regular cotton shirt. A few washes and it gets softer. They shrink a little. My son wears pants 7 and shirt 8. I'm an average size 10-12 which is a little big for him but not much and perfect for pajamas or under a sweatshirt. This is not a t-shirt to be worn under unbuttoned buttons. This is a dense…
