I would not buy again.

They look stretched in the hips. After a wash they were loose and looked worn at the leg holes. I wish there was some sort of elastic at the bottom like my son's other underwear so it fits around his buttocks and legs. He doesn't like wearing them, he prefers the ones with elastic at the bottom. His pee in it also falls out much easier. He doesn't like it either.

Pros
  • Pre-shrunk for a comfortable fit
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Becomes ill-fitting and uncomfortable after a few hours of wear.

They stretch/deform horribly after a few hours of wear. They fit well when you put them on, but as the day goes on the leg openings lose their "fit" and the poor little guy starts to sag at the sides. Surprisingly for Hanes products, we love adult Hanes products. We will no longer buy children's underwear.

Pros
  • Front fly
Cons
  • I'll add later

Too long in step.

My son is 4 years old, he is of average height, maybe a little tall if that. This underwear is ok, it's just a little bit thin, which is ok because it's summer, but the crotch is too long. The underwear should be pulled up the back and almost to the navel so that his privates do not fall out from one side or the other. :( I never thought I wouldn't like a pack of underwear.

Pros
  • Braided belt stretches for uninterrupted freedom
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared
