Inaccurate after the agonizing calibration process.

Calibration was an absolute agony. And even after following at's instructions, it did NOT read the calibration solution closely, let alone anything else I put it into. The pH readings were also incredibly laggy and still inaccurate. I sent this product back, I didn't care if it was an accident.

Pros
  • Two-point manual calibration for ease of use
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Compete Garbage: substance analysis instrumentation

I've been using this product for a few months. At first it seemed normal, and in fact it still seems normal now because when you put it in the calibration solution, it's always close. But when you measure the water, it turns off completely. I discovered this the hard way, I couldn't figure out what the problem was until I tested the water with a PH batter. It read all sorts of nonsense, crap like that. Don't waste your money, I wish I had just gotten one of the more expensive ones to start…

Pros
  • Non-clog fiber optic connector and replaceable electrode to extend meter life
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Good meter at this price

This meter is much better designed than the competition (see also my review of the pH600AQ pH tester from Milwaukee Instruments). The ergonomics are much better. It has a switch that can be set to read continuously and calibration screws on the side. This allows you to hold the instrument with one hand and make adjustments from the side while constantly reading the display. This makes calibration easy and accurate. The meter has two calibration points at 4 and 7. I use this meter to measure pH…

Pros
  • Large LCD screen for easy reading
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required
