Excellent points made of "hard plastic " (acrylic) of the extra class!

It looks elitist, but at the same time it is practical because it is disposable. The material is a bit like acrylic. This is definitely a better quality than the regular disposable glasses you will usually find!

1/2 glass broken on paper and plastic

As previous reviewers noted, received about 1/2 cup broken. This appears to be a design flaw because when the cups are stacked on top of each other, none of it is in the cup, shrinking and eventually separating the cups. Until that changes, I would avoid it. Otherwise they are a great size - not too big and not too small.
