This timer is just what I needed and you get two for the price of one! Quite small but loud enough to hear even when you are upstairs.

Very handy size. I don't like to stop during training to reset the time. When it goes out and I press the button, it reverts to the minutes/seconds I entered previously and I'm ready for my next set.

I bought these with high expectations but was disappointed in their design, build and performance. They're relatively easy to set up and operate, but they're very noisy to use, as each button press causes the timer to beep loudly. The magnets on the back are almost useless as they have very little holding power. The timer function works perfectly, so in my opinion one can speak of a solid purchase in this regard.

I've seen the advertised images in Revain (included) and they mislead you about the size. After receiving the units I came back and couldn't find the dimensions on the Revain display. That's small. The display is approximately 1.5 inches x 0.625 inches. The external dimensions are 2.5 inches x 2.25 inches. Had a similar timer for many years but then it broke. However, this digital kitchen timer is much better. It not only counts down but also up, which is a great feature. I love the stand so you can just put it on the counter and the magnet to attach it directly to my stovetop. The height of the alarm clock is ideal as it is not too loud. I liked everything about these timers except for one little thing that might not bother you at all: a loud beep or squeak with each press of one of the buttons. This is completely unnecessary. I just need a loud alarm, no buttons. I can and do disable this feature on my phone, but not on this one. It's annoying and makes me wish I'd bought them. I wouldn't buy them again. That aside they appear to be of good quality, have a nice solid stand and come with batteries.

This timer is easy to set up and use. It's simple and straightforward, so there's really no learning curve in using it. There is a magnet on the back so it can stick to a range hood or other appliance and there is also a 'stand' on the back made of durable plastic. I also noticed a loop on the upper back that can be used to hang it from a small hook or string if you want to carry it with you for some reason.
