🐱 Hemp Kitty Litter by Happy Cat - All-Natural, Biodegradable, and 7X More Absorbent! Review

I love natural products my furry 14 year old and although urinary problems are common in cats she has never had any, I think it's mostly because I keep her away from chemicals. She has also not been to the vet since she was cured at the age of four. I use hemp in combination with SoPhresh because 100% hemp is too dusty for me.

This filling is very light compared to the clay or grain based fillings I have used in the past. The packaging is very easy to close, which makes storage easier. The litter has an earthy smell and masks the smell of cat urine well. It sticks together freely and pulls out easily. I like that it is dust free.

I agree the putty has a nice earthy smell but the wet putty is not scoopable (doesn't clump) and after a few days you want to throw it away. My cat isn't fussy so uses it with no problem, but my laundry room/tray is starting to smell like ammonia and I'm going to the store to buy a new litter box. I prefer corn or wheat filler.

Who are these five star reviewers and what do they do to make this litter work? This filler is dusty, does not mask the smell of urine (ammonia) at all and behaves like nobody needs it. I wanted to switch to a more organic filler so this is my first filler but now I'm going back to regular clay filler. If anyone has good recommendations for alternative clay fillers please let me know.

I first used this product for a portable potty for our family because there were no toilets where we went camping. Never used a litter box before. It delivered as described - odor controlled, absorbs well and a little went a long way. The filling itself smelled naturally earthy-woody, without heavy perfumes. I like that it is natural and biodegradable. I took off one star because of the price and the size of the package. I really like this product but I will definitely have to shop more to find

But it's a little difficult for me because the color is so dark and thick that it's hard to find the waste easy to find I need more than going through it once to make it sure i removed everything i even tried mixing lighter filler but your product takes over and also as far as tracking goes it doesn't go far stays basically a few feet around the box . OMG‼️ I love this litter for many reasons 😻 I started by putting Happy Cat hemp litter in a litter Box and left my other tray of the world's best multi-purpose cat litter that I have used.
