These picture hangers have worked great in my home. We have concrete walls and that's the only thing that didn't cause any problems.

I have concrete block walls in my office and wanted to hang some framed items on them. I remember these fixtures working for me in my old apartment (with concrete walls) and this time they worked exactly the same. Very easy to install and fasten securely. Excellent price.

I'm good with a hammer so I didn't tap hard. I have used 5 of these so far and 2 of them have bent nails on me that I have never seen before. Get what you pay for - they're cheap so I'm not surprised, but be prepared and invest in some extras if you need a certain amount, just in case.

These little guys are great. I have a cinder block and plaster house. I was trying to find an easy way to hang lights on my patio. They were perfect, they went in with just a few light taps of a hammer. They don't require brute force. Good product. I'm sure I'll be using more of these when it comes time to put up the Christmas lights. However, if you need to remove them, the remaining holes are small. I painted them over and they are gone!
