5/8 " Nut Nut Washers

I order these nut nut washers for our hand truck all the time. Removing the old washers is a chore, but once they're removed the new washers are easy to put in. The The order and the product matched our requirements for a 5/8" axle perfectly.

Just a hair less than 5/8. I had to expand ID

These are great when you are dredging a small amount of material from the inside. I tried to brute force the first one on and it bent. On the second one I used a dremel to increase the inside diameter and it worked really well. I only removed a small amount of material and it fit perfectly. I can never delete the first one. I hit him with a sledgehammer and nothing. But at least it won't come off.

Milwaukee Cart Compression Nut Fits 5/8 Shaft

Ideal for Milwaukee Cart. If you like me I was wondering if it would fit my Milwaukee doll. I tried one of those Dorman packs from Oriellys, none fit. Finding a push nut for a Milwaukee wagon was a nightmare. I went to the store where I bought the doll but no luck. I've tried Walmart and Atwoods. See you need a replacement, just use a pry bar, pull it out, but order a swivel nut from these dealers, they work.

It's hard to find and just what you need

We wanted to replace the inflatable tires on our trolley with solid ones and the caps for them could be removed with a hammer. So we needed something else to nail down after changing tires. Enter these mounts! They hold the wheels by gripping the axle. In fact, now that I know about it, I would use this type of gear more often. If you want something to rotate on a dowel or small tube, this allows it and keeps it there.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • It's hard to say

Holds wheels on a hand truck.

I can't explain why these axle nuts aren't sold in the bin at your local hardware store, but I can tell you that if you damage one of these when changing a wheel on your 5/8 -Axis that these suckers will ride like champions on. I also suggest you have a short length of iron/galvanized pipe and a hammer to tap on it so it slides very smoothly. These items were affordable and exactly what I was looking for.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Repair

May work but is very fragile

I bought a pack of 10 and installed them onto a 5/8" hand truck axle using a rubber mallet and a socket wrench. Push them evenly without one side closing further than the other press or they I'll go through 5 of these before getting 2 of them working on either side of the axle I wouldn't buy them again - I'll use them temporarily until I buy shaft clamps which are much cheaper and look more durable.
