As a hesitant buyer, I purchased these screws for an industrial project. As a result of my tests, I determined that they were overpriced and of poor quality. The screws stripped easily and were not as durable as other options on the market. While they were marketed as an "Industrial and Scientific" solution, they fell short of my expectations. The only pro was the packaging was nice and organized, but that hardly makes up for the subpar screws inside.

I tried it on 6" x 8" lumber running an 8" length. They didn't get through. They would get stuck and end up around the head. Make sure you have a 5/16" screwdriver as there is no bit included in the box. I pre-drilled a 1/8" hole with a 12" bit. The place works fine.

I think I've bought all the other brands and these are the only wood screws that never break but most importantly to me when screwing 3-8 2X6" finished boards they never snap take the wood off when I tighten them. Every other brand removes wood unless I'm very careful. This never happens so I can tighten the finished boards. This is a great product that always comes in within a few days of ordering Arrived in very good packaging I couldn't be happier.
