Too big for GPSMap 64!

Too much space around the GPS. I also wish there were 1-2 zippered pockets on the other side instead of just a slip pocket so I can put batteries and cords in without worrying about them falling out or jumping all over the case.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Almost never

Bulky and cluttered

Definitely good protection for the device, even if you're expecting it to fall out of a plane from 20,000 feet or hit an earthquake-damaged building. Its sturdy and rigid construction does more than necessary and its packaging takes up a lot of space.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • A few small things

Very nice solid case. Durable zippers.

Very good addition to my Garmin 64st. Plenty of room for cables, batteries, extra cards etc. I have other Caseling cases and have never had a problem. It's nice to store when not in use or being transported to and from places. I will use it on trails etc but definitely after not scratching it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

seems reliable and accurate, fairly easy to use

We love this Garmin GPS, it's great to be able to record points in our survey . The only disappointing thing is that it would be better if they offered more free cards. Maps are like a subscription you pay for and free maps are very limited. Overall we used it and found it useful and accurate. (I don't know what the difference is between the "strength" and "durability" ratings. Reliability would be a better indicator.)

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Finally a bag that fits

I've been trying for a long time to find a bag that fits my Garmin Explorer Plus. I've tried several different cases, even the Garmin recommended one, they were all 10x larger. Inside the case there was always so much free space that the conductor plus slipped all over the case. I was proud to find this case, a case that really hugs the device and holds it in place. I can easily install the Explorer plus into the case with the attached clip.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some problems

Nice rugged GPS case

This case is strong enough to withstand falls or even kicks. The weak point, however, is the elastic strap that keeps the GPS in the correct case - ours stretches after just a few months of use. I expect next year it will be so loose that it no longer holds the GPS tightly in that half of the case, but I'll probably continue to use the case by closing the left side over the right and that Close the case with a zipper. Overall, a pretty good, solid case with one flaw.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Useless features

Garmin GPSMAP 64 fits well but there are disadvantages

Good storage case for Garmin GPSMAP 64. Solid, durable. Garmin is coming. The downside is that the mesh pocket doesn't have a zip and the pocket itself is pretty much bare. So if you put spare batteries in, you will inevitably find them out of the bag and scattered on the GPS the next time you open the case. unit revolution. I can't imagine taking this case with me on a hike due to the size and extra weight. I use it to store my device (to keep GPS and cables in one place) and for protection…

Very happy with this purchase.

I have a Garmin padded travel case for my GPSMAP 64ST, but I don't think it offers adequate protection. It also prevented me from simply holding the USB cable and device together. Since I have rechargeable batteries installed, having a USB cable on hand to power the unit is paramount. Since I like to take the device with me on car trips, the added protection and ability to keep the GPS and cable together was worth the extra weight. Would I take this suitcase on a hike? Probably not as it's a…
