this is a small lily

I haven't had this lily long enough to know whether it is growing or not. It looked good when I received it, It was moist and had green on the crown. The instruction were simple and clear for planting. It has been in the pool for several days, but we have had a lot of rain and the water is a little murky. Hopefully I will be able to see it better in a week. If it starts putting up leaves and growing, I would give it a 5 star review.

Pros
  • Fast delivery and gorgeous tuber with roots and leaves! Excited to plant and see it bloom.
Cons
  • Too thin, pre-mature. Could have been better

Healthy Plant! good for me

It arrived healthy with tiny leaves. Can't wait to see this does in our pond. I will update this post on its progress. 90% never grew. The few that did start died even with changing the water each day..

Pros
  • For my water garden
Cons
  • 90% never grew. The few that did start died even with changing the water each day.

Ready to grow in my review

Plant arrived promptly and was in good shape. The other products I ordered to go with it did not come yet, so I just put the root in my pond in a makeshift cage temporarily. I did not use soil or anything. By the next day it had started unfolding one of the little leaves growing out of it and after 3 days there are two good sized leaves. The soil and pot have come now so I will transplant it to them.

Pros
  • Started slow but r now doing great. Thanks for the fertalizer tablet
Cons
  • The pink color may not be as vibrant as advertised, disappointing buyers

Arrived early in my review

I've only had it for less than a week but it arrived earlier than expected and is growing leaves already. Looks good so far!

Pros
  • Healthy tubers that had already had some growth starting. Got here very quickly.
Cons
  • The plant can quickly outgrow small aquariums or ponds, requiring constant monitoring and maintenance

but they grew wonderfully and continue to bloom after 2 years

These were purchased as a gift for my grandmother. She has a green thumb, but they grew wonderfully and continue to bloom after 2 years!

Pros
  • We planted this a few weeks ago and have 6 lily pads. Can't wait to see the flower bloom.
Cons
  • The tuber never grew in the pond, just rotted. Will not order again.

Healthy plants on my review.

Purchased these for my dad for his pond. Planted the and in less than a week he had several lily pads reaching for the top of the water. Healthy looking plants. I purchased these a few weeks ago and wanted to wait to write this review. Plants are still growing and look great. No flowers yet but I am sure they will come!

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • The plant may fail to thrive if planted during the wrong season

Dont waste your money!

This arrived as a black tuber without roots. I planted it and it did begin to sprout, but the leaves are scarce and minature, about nickel size. No blooms so far, and probably will not because the leaves are not looking healthy. Not at all what I was expecting to plant in my koi pond.

Pros
  • Tuber arrived in good shape with a few stems already formed.
Cons
  • Didn’t grow

It's alive! Good purchase.

This was a pretty good chunk of root, with one medium leaf and one tiny leaf that were green. It came very well packaged, in a sealed bag with adequate moisture sealed in and some type of heat reflecting sheet inside the box. I planted it in my pond and the larger leaf ended up dying after the first day, but the smaller leaf doubled in size. Three days later and it now has 3 healthy leaves reaching for the surface. Good product and it's growing. They shipped it to AZ and it's 116° right now…

Pros
  • Grew rapidly and we already have a flower.
Cons
  • The plant may require additional nutrients beyond what is available in the aquarium or pond, leading to additional expenses for buyers

So far I am very pleased with my purchase

I bought two of the pond lilies. I put them in pots and placed them in the water immediately. They have not been in the pond for a whole week and I can already see growth. So far I am very pleased with my purchase. The real truth will be next spring. I am curious as to how well they will handle the winter.

Pros
  • USDA approved.
Cons
  • May require a lot of pruning to keep it from overtaking the environment

Lots of new growth good for me

Bought two lilies, one looked like it was dying but both have tripled in lily pads in the past few weeks! That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Put them in the pond the day i received them and they are growing strong. Thank you
Cons
  • not that great still have not got any flowers on plant also was half way dead when i got it

Great value best in my review

I was skeptical, but wanted to try and grow a water Lilly. It arrived as promised. I followed the easy instructions and its growing well! I live in south Florida.

Pros
  • Got my lily and it already has leaves started. Great price too!
Cons
  • Not ideal for outdoor ponds in colder climates

Did not grow! for my opinion

I followed the instructions, planted it, and put it in my backyard pond and it never grew. I finally took it out to check it and it had gone soggy and gross.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • The plant may produce too much waste and debris, leading to filtration issues

just not growing as fast like my other ones are

I have put the plants in my pond as directed (which I've always done) and so far they are still alive, just not growing as fast like my other ones are.

Pros
  • It grew! :D lily pads be a growin.
Cons
  • Poor packaging could result in damage to the tuber

less than 24 hours and she's happily opening up.

I was pretty sure I'd fail but at 24 hours she's starting to open up already and looks pretty happy. Update! She's growing like crazy and seems to be hardy. I just have her floating around in my fish tank. The snails love that she backs up some of the floating plants to create a shade spot. It's pretty cool. Even at this point it was worth it because you can see it move when you turn on your tank lights. If she actually blooms, I swear I'm starting an entire tank of water lilies.

Pros
  • Grown by using lastest technology and facility.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain types of lighting

I received healthy plants. I don't have them planted as I am waiting on the rest of my order, but have them in a bucket of water and they seem to be doing well.

Pros
  • This Greenpro product is a top-quality plant that is guaranteed to be healthy and strong, making it an ideal choice for both novice and experienced aquarium enthusiasts. With its vibrant pink color and hardy nature, the Hardy Louisiana Pink Water Lily Tuber is sure to be a stunning and reliable element of your aquatic landscape for years to come
Cons
  • The plant may require additional equipment like CO2 injectors to achieve optimal growth and coloration

Water lily did not grow.

The water lily arrived in good condition, or so it seemed. I immediately unwrapped it and followed the instructions. It has been in the pond for a month now and shows no sign of growth. Disappointed.

Pros
  • The Hardy Louisiana Pink Water Lily Tuber is an excellent addition to any freshwater aquatic environment, perfect for both aquariums and fish ponds. This live Nymphaea Fabiola plant creates a natural and beautiful environment for your fish to thrive, helping to regulate the water quality and providing a calming and relaxing atmosphere
Cons
  • May not be ideal for beginner aquarists or pond owners

So far, all good best in my review

I just received the plant 3 days ago. It came well packaged and looked healthy. It was mainly a root ball with a few stems coming out of it. I planted it as directed and it still looks alive, which is good for me. I have hopes that it will turn into a beautiful pond plant soon.

Pros
  • Plant arrived alive as a stem and after 2 weeks I already have lilly pads.
Cons
  • The lily tubers may not survive shipping depending on the temperature and handling during transit

Strange Plant good for me

The plant is nice. However, the website never stated that you had to plant it yourself. Just the plant was sent. WE thought it would be ready to put in the pond. That was not the case. Instructions came with it that didn't work so we just did what we thought was right. It turned out okay and the plant is doing well.

Pros
  • Plants, Seeds & Bulbs
Cons
  • The tuber may not survive if planted too deep or shallow

Excellent Condition

Very pleased with the condition of the plant I received - I bought the Fabiola variety. Shipping was fast and the packaging was sufficient. I was fearful I'd get a mushy dead plant, but it is firm and healthy and has little stems and leaves already growing. Will buy more, now that I know this seller provides a quality product!

Pros
  • Aquatic Plants
Cons
  • The aquascape may require significant changes to accommodate the plant's growth patterns
