Not quite suitable for Nissan Frontier 2001, I had to flush 2 corners, also the 12V direct connection was in the wrong place on the wiring harness which also had to be modified

After professional installation, the radio only worked for a few weeks and then went out. You must remove and change. Do not buy this radio if you are looking for good quality.

Will not fit Nissan Xterra 2000 without major modifications Couldn't find a replacement and daughter you really wanted her Christmas gift set. I had to sand and trim the edges to make it fit. I had to shorten the line a bit.

For 00-01 Xterra the mounting part will not fit properly as it is too big for the factory location. I had to cut about 1/2 inch off either side of the top to get it to fit properly. The factory frame covers where you cut it so it still looks good. Although the wiring matched perfectly.

Does not work on 1998 Nissan Frontier. There is no ground terminal in the wiring harness and the dashboard does not match. You should cut about a half inch from each side of the dash opening where the clips for the radio bezel will go. I wouldn't have bought it if I had known. The kit also does not include the wiring needed to connect the ground wire from the new radio. The best thing to do is to mount the new radio on the old brackets and buy a wiring harness.
