Adapter includes pins to connect a steering wheel control interface module. (Pins 4,13,14)* and includes the Vehicle Speed Sensor signal wire. In addition, dedicated ground and +12 Volt Accessory wires are provided to power a steering wheel control interface module. Wires are either standard aftermarket color coded or labeled for a simplified installation.

Needs a slight modification for 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX STI without navigation

So I bought this to add the Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS to my 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX STI without navigation. For some reason, the plastic parts that attach to the wiring harness on both the car and the radio are reversed; All the wires are in the right place, but the plastic parts themselves are upside down, so they won't insert properly on either side. I had to compare the wiring that came with the Pioneer unit to this adapter to make sure they were correct and also check the white end that goes…

A custom wiring harness was made from this and many other parts. Worked fine for my purposes, but you probably won't do the same.

Finished wiring harness that works.

Everything already done. A cable's color doesn't match the original, so you'll need to look at the picture for the cable's PIN, but it's not difficult.
