These are by far the best clippers I have found. The reason for 3 stars vs 5 is that the spring doesn't hold. I bought 3 this year. The spring first broke in March and failed less than 2 months later. The second time in May the spring broke and failed after 3 months. Spring broke out last September and fell again last week. I also don't know how to use the lifetime warranty as I couldn't find any contact information when Googling Harperton.

I would rate the hair clipper myself with about 4 stars, mainly because I don't know if there is a hair clipper that would be rated 5, but excellent customer service Guaranteed a full 5 stars year the clippers were blunt to do even more work. I contacted Harperton and they immediately sent me a replacement. Terrific! The spring on the replacement clipper eventually broke and after contacting Harperton about this they sent me a package of replacement springs very quickly. Clipper works again…

UPDATE: Harperton finally contacted me and sent me something I have no idea about (came in a yellow bag with a clip on it), but it definitely wasn't the cuticle feathers the tailor bought. It's not worth my time to keep doing it. I'll just write it off as a bad buy. The one star rating remains. A NOTICE. I've had the nail clippers for at least a year now and strangely the nail clippers are a lot better than anything I've ever used. I thought they were comparable in quality and they really are. They have soft, comfortable handles, so you definitely won't hurt your cuticles by slipping off.
