My soldering looks like it was done by a pro. Take some good aluminum alloy soldering rods (not those zinc and aluminum ones) and heat them up properly. You can watch the flux flow out and clean the work piece before the metal flows and follows.

Ensures a nice flow of the aluminum rod. I use it with a flux cored aluminum soldering rod and it works great. Heat the stick a little and dip it in the flux powder, then apply and heat until the flux flows like water, then add the stick.
