Ok but the price keeps going up

This food is awesome. A big bag lasts a long time. But before I get to the positives, the main downside is that the price has increased by more than $5. I mean I love my birds but I feel like the price is getting a little ridiculous. The food is excellent. Keeps my cockatiels healthy as they grow. Now when I tried to put them back on their normal seed diet, they ate the remaining Harrisons instead of their seeds. But I'm sorry to say that unless the price is reduced my birds will probably have…

An excellent feed/pellets option for bird health and welfare.

This product is amazing. My green cheeked kennel loves these pellets. I noticed a noticeable difference in my birds' feathers and skinning became easier. The feathers are very healthy, growing fast and my bird has enough energy. I've also tried a variety of peppers (found on the Harrisons website) and standard granules, which also worked very well. Many kennels love spicy food, so give them a try. Because the bag is so large, in terms of storage, I only keep one medium can on the counter at a…

Great bird seed! on Food

My parrot loves these pellets They are organic what is there not to love because she is a big girl and likes to hold food with her foot to eat it. She likes bigger granules from other brands like African Gray or Revain granules. The only way I could get her. Eating coarsely ground food meant keeping all other food out of the cage. I know another that has the same birds as me (Poycephalus) and her bird likes fine grinding. So, I thought, why the hell might I as well try them. Now this is her…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • I won't say anything

As most reviews say this is some of the best bird seed you can buy. In fact, it isn't even better than other feeds as it is one of the few bird feeds you can buy that actually provides the right nutrition for your bird. Many people buy these mixed seed and other feed mixes for their birds because they think it will provide variety and be good for them, when in reality the bird will only eat one or two things from the mix that it likes. This leads to blunt feathers, lack of energy, moodiness…

Outstanding Pellet

This is one of the best feeds you can buy for poultry. The ingredients are of very high quality, from organic farming and very good for your bird. I have to admit that I mix this food with Roudybush, another high quality kibble. I couldn't be happier with Harrisions than I am - he just exceeds my expectations. Switching your bird from a seed diet to a pellet diet can be a bit difficult, but if you are patient and consistent it will pay off and your bird will be healthier. I recommend this…

The best pellet I have ever fed my bird. IMPORTANT for health!

Harrison Organic Pellets (whether High Potency or Adult Lifetime) are probably the healthiest and overall best possible primary food source for captive parrots/birds. You don't have to worry about possible dyes, pesticides or other nasty chemicals that could harm your bird. If you have a parrot that eats a seed and seed mix diet, he or she will most likely NOT like that food right away. Most likely reason number one: SUGAR. Sugar, at least in humans, has been shown to be a MOOD CHANGING…
