Nostalgia in your pocket

Fits easily in the palm of your hand. It's crazy to think that the original game was the size of a Chrysler hubcap. It works much better than the original and uses a lot less batteries. However, it's still frustrating. The memory game for someone who has no memory can and often is the worst thing. However, it is a fantastic and simple game.

  • Easy installation

NOT a classic game

Unfortunately this is NOT a classic game. I expect from Simon Says that the pattern will get longer until you can keep up with it. This game has "levels" where the first level increases to a pattern length of 3, then resets and a new pattern begins. You then have a pattern length of 4 and then it resets. Then he adds a combo (two colors at a time). Although interesting, my wife is a fan of the classics and this was a disappointment.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Modern

The sound in games and accessories is too loud

Like others here, I want this game to be played like the original game without going through the different levels. I want it to be one continuous row of buttons. Also, the volume is very loud and quite annoying for everyone else as there is no way to turn off the sound. However, I was able to unscrew and open the back cover (not the battery cover). Cutting the white wire going to the speaker in the middle permanently mutes the sound, which I find better than having it on.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • There are flaws

Not as described! - Games and Accessories

I bought a mini Simon from Walmart a few years ago and it looked like a big Simon but smaller. Ideal. Unless it's lost. It's terrible. Just when you start thinking, "Okay, I have to watch out!" The "round" is over and you start over. The "few buttons" are inconsistent as to whether they work properly or not, and as everyone has said, they are VERY VERY noisy. I wanted to leave it in the car so the grandkids would have something to do while driving. Maybe I'll leave it in the trash now. SO…

NOT the classic simon game

This is not the classic simon game I was hoping for (in mini form). . You repeat a short pattern, and when you do, you move to the next "level". The game restarts and you start another template. The initial template only has 3 lights, the next has 4 etc. 2) You don't just have a single light template. Sometimes you need to press 2 or 3 lights at the same time. It's interesting and fun, but NOT the classic Simon. It should be a different and optional mode and not enforced (and it is). You'll run

cute and fun game: games and accessories

I remember a big game from my childhood. It's almost identical but just the right size for the hand. The game doesn't advance if you sure win, you don't complete the 1st puzzle and add another one and another one and so on, you just get a new but longer game. Playing alone is fun, but this game has a second option called Pass, where you make yours and then pass it to the next person and move on. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the lack of a volume button. . So if you're trying to
