I've used these things but it's been a long time. A few flashes and he returned. It makes really great flared fittings. I am very happy with it. The work turned out great!

Should have paid more for a quality tool. There were no instructions included. So if you are a beginner, you need to search the internet for a hit and miss guide. Couldn't get a good double torch with this tool, bought ABN Auto Double and the first flashlight was perfect. A very sloppy design, the grip grooves leave deep marks on the pipe that need to be smoothed out for the nut to seat properly. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long to try it as I can't return it now.

Purchased to create bubble flair on the brake line. It's advertised as a dual shaft tool, but to make bubble flairs, just follow half the process to get the correct bubble flair (presumably). I will be returning this kit for a different brand. You really get what you paid for when you choose "cheap". I'm swapping calipers and brake lines on a 94 foot Corvette and nobody's forcing the rear brakes to do what I need to do. I will look for another flare tool once I finish this review. Others - skip

I think I messed up using the Ridgid flaring tool for SAE/inch tubing (it doesn't grip metric tubing though) was totally disappointed with how it works compared to ridgid. Thumb nuts to pull the blocks together require extra leverage to get the blocks close enough to clamp the hose (Ridgid has a clamp in the flared part of the tool with a shank in the handle for leverage).
