The best application scissors!

I bought these scissors after buying an embroidery machine and falling in love with applique. Even with my smallest pair of scissors, it was difficult to get close enough to the design. These changed everything! They're sharp, easy to use, and have turned a frustrating task into an easy one! They arrived quickly and were priced within my budget range. Love love!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Outdoor

By far the best app I've used! I wish I had found them at all!

Oh my god I really like this. I do a lot of machine embroidery and appliqué and this is the best I've found for trimming small sections of fabric and batting, and it's easy to pin it into a 1/4 inch seam to trim the bulk. They are very sharp, clean cut and I have used them with ease and precision on many different types of fabric and fine batting.

Pros
  • As everyone has done before
Cons
  • Useless features

This is my second pair in 10 years. I love them to complete the appliques with machine embroidery in the hoop. I've also used mine for trimming quilted projects. They are very thin so resharpening multiple times may not work, but I resharpened my first pair after poor use/drops and used them a few more years. use projects. I do a lot with paper etc.

Pros
  • Cutting tools
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Superb application scissors

Superb application scissors. I tried duckbill scissors and wasn't happy with my final product. They're great, they go right to the seam so you don't have those nasty little threads sticking out after you're done sewing. They are small enough that you can get right into the hoop. They are also sharp to the point of the scissors. A must have for those of you who do embroidery and applique. I love them and would definitely recommend them to anyone who loves embroidery and applique.

Pros
  • Scissors
Cons
  • High price

Recommended for embroidery/applique

I originally bought these to cut transition stitches as they cut very tightly as the blades are thin and sharp. Their small size makes them great for grabbing the tire while working on the machine. Be careful not to get caught on the fabric, they are sharp! I have appliqué scissors that work well, but now I use appliqué scissors as well. I find them easy to control because they are small and get very close. It's much easier to get to a bodysuit with hoops to cut your hair. The reason I don't…

Pros
  • Needlework
Cons
  • I will add later
