✂️ Havel's Snip-Eze 4.75-inch Embroidery Scissors Review

I bought these scissors for my quilt. The curved blades are very sharp and just right for cutting thread close to fabric without damaging it. Very light weight and the blades are thin. However, if you drop them on a hard surface, the blades can and usually will warp. We tweaked and corrected mine for a while and almost brought them back to the original curve, but I ended up getting a different set and am much more careful with them now.

As you can see from the photo, Havel's Snip-Eze doesn't cut. They didn't even cut off the air! Complete rubbish Bought a Havel's Snip-Eze tool to replace another OESD EZ Snip product previously ordered that cost more but didn't work properly due to the filament coming out of the blade when cutting. I had to hold the thread with tweezers to cut it. In addition, the blades wear out during use. There were high hopes that Snip-Eze Havel would work. To return. Will not reorder. I do NOT recommend.

I have arthritis and decided to try this style of scissors. Took this one and another that was about half the price for comparison. Both cut well, but the Havel seems more durable despite not being heavy. The EZ cut seems more fragile so it will be interesting to see which one lasts longer. In the tariff features area, "ease of use”, value for money and cleanliness are listed. No idea what the cleanliness rating means so I rated the other 2. Would recommend this product, easy to use and works…

I love these little pliers. This is my second pair. It's perfect for removing stitches (sorry that happens) the tips are sharp and have nice curved blades. I love them so much I now have two pairs. I decided to tie a pair to a narrow decorative rubber band (like those used for gift wrapping) and made a long cord to wear these little scissors around my neck. I always put them down and had to pick them up. Remember that small scissors have sharp ends. This pair came with a rubber protective case.
