🚗 Hawk HB179F.630 HPS Ceramic Brake Pads - Performance Boost for Your Vehicle Review

Great pads for people who want more power from their brakes but still ride every day. I've run them on 3 different machines and still love them.

They proved to be very good quality and worth the extra price. They were for my 1990 twin turbo 300zx and fit perfectly. They don't squeak or squeak like some of the other pads I've used and brake dust is minimal. I bought front and rear kits and replaced everything for the corners (Hawk Performance HB178F.564 HPS Performance Ceramic Brake Pad).

Bought to replace the stock rear pads on my 1991 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo. I know the rear brakes only provide a small percentage of the car's stopping power, but they definitely helped eliminate some of the braking play I've experienced before. They're no louder than factory pads and have done well at dust removal so far - we'll see how they hold up in autocross competition this summer. My experience with them so far has been flawless. A+ product.

My personal favorite road brake pads in terms of braking performance, initial bite, wear and dust. I also installed them on my SUV. Initial bite isn't as strong as PBR Carbon Ceramics or Axxis Metal Matrix, but they don't have the stopping power of a Hawk HPS. Dust is better than Performance Friction, but I really think the PF stops better on road surfaces - gets stronger as you slow down. .Better than Raybestos Carbon Metallics in every way.
