Easy to install, but the handbrake knob is loose. It popped out the first time I used it and I had trouble putting it back on. When using it, be VERY gentle.

I like this brake controller for its ease of use with minimal setup. The only downside I found was that it didn't come with a mating connector and pigtail, so I had to cut the connector off and plug it in straight in.

I bought this product in 2009. Easy to set up and works great with my 32ft 5er. Something went wrong so we reached out to Genesis for further help. The help I got was with a new controller. What a great company to do this after 7 years of use.

This device really broke after about 4 years. However, Hayes is an excellent company and they helped me replace this unit right away! Good product combined with excellent customer service. However, I'd rather that something doesn't fail, but when it does it's nice to know that they have my back.

Tried to call them, nobody home. Email sent, nothing. You lock the brakes no matter what settings it reads 80%. The other randomly flashes the brake lights so I unhooked it and drove @20k# home with no trailer brakes.
