GREAT CL3 HDMI CABLE THAT IS SUPER LONG!

Super long HDMI cable with crisp picture and sound. I was concerned that at 50 feet the quality would degrade and an amplifier might be needed. Not so. This cable exceeded all my expectations. I needed a long HDMI cable that was also CL3 certified as I was going to run it through the walls to the attic. The cable is very thick and appears to be very durable. The ends are also very strong. All in all a great purchase and I would recommend it.

4K 30Hz ONLY! No 60Hz 4K.

Hidden at the edge of the basement between my gaming PC and my Onkyo TV/receiver. Actually I bought it a year ago to replace a dead "HDMI ribbon cable" but I never got it to work. Sat down and fiddled with the settings to find that the 40ft version could actually only handle 4K at 30Hz. 59/60Hz screen dims. Disappointing considering this thing is SUPER thick. I hooked up a cheaper 25ft cable just for testing and it works fine at 60Hz. If you're going to use it for gaming I'd look elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY! Does NOT work as advertised!

The only thing I really like about this product is that it feels essential. I have a 50" HDMI 2.0 variant, white and red. Now for the bad. The listing says it supports 4k at 60Hz. but it just won't. I didn't know this when I bought it and took the company's word for it. For new construction, I didn't bother testing the cable before installing it in the walls and ceiling. A few months later when I got a new 4k 60hz capable TV, I plugged it in and it just doesn't show a 4k 60hz picture. Now Iโ€ฆ

Doesn't transmit HDR at 40ft

This 40ft cable is labeled as HDMI 2.0 so it should stream 4K with HDR from my Sony UHD Blu-ray player but it doesn't. I plugged it into the HDMI 2.0 port of an Optoma Cinemax P2 ultra short throw projector, but the projector didn't believe anything was plugged into it. When I connected it to an HDMI 1.4 port, I got a 4K picture without HDR. To make sure the HDMI 2.0 port was working, I connected a 3-4 foot HDMI Monster 10.2Gb/s cable between the player and the HDMI 2.0 port, and voila! I haveโ€ฆ

Very glad they are cheap and functional 4k at 50ft!

works great at 4k 30hz 4:4:4. works in 4k 60Hz 4:2:0 (would not match the declared 4:2:2) the picture is still excellent with no gaps or problems. Setup: Gigabyte GTX980TI G1 Gaming and 65" Samsung UN65JS8500 TV. Very happy to be able to walk 4km 50ft. Chroma subsampling reduction compared to being able to run at 60Hz, which is most important for gaming, barely noticeable the cable design seems good they are very thick and well built with good connectors they have survived being pulled throughโ€ฆ

Copy and paste from another cable I tested in.

Copy and paste from another cable I tested in the same environment: unfortunately didn't work for me. It could only transmit a 4K signal at 30 Hz over a 35-foot cable. My projector is currently 32 feet from the receiver. I have no doubt this will work for cables 20 feet or less, but it didn't work in my application. This has been tested on both an Xbox One S and a HTPC with a GTX 970. They have been tested both directly and via a connection. Marantz SR7010 no luck. I ruled out the possibilityโ€ฆ

Great value for money

I bought two HDMI cables at once and they were the same except for the length: a 35 foot cable and a 40 foot cable. I ran a 40 foot cable in the wall and ceiling where it connects my bedroom TV to the wall box by the bed. There I switch it between my laptop and the DVD player so I can lie in bed and easily use my laptop on the big screen. This 35 foot cable stays available when I need it for any number of applications. I've recently used it to hook up an overhead video camera to a computerโ€ฆ

Basically info says good cables "definitely " work at around 40ft

I bought the 40ft version of the Ultra cable for wall/ceiling applications and I needed every inch of it. Basically, if you look online at the various tests that have been done with HDMI cables, the information is that good cables will "definitely" work up to 40 feet and "most likely" will work at slightly longer distances. I didn't want to risk it, so I bought the shortest cable I could. The quality is excellent and I have no signal problems at 40 feet. The only thing I would point out as aโ€ฆ
