I played as a kid and in high school but stopped in my 20's. No, in my 30's I always wanted to play again and now I've decided to do it as I live next to the pitch. This racquet is perfect for those who haven't picked one up in years but still have a built in skill. I will probably use this racket for many years. I am not a competitive player. just for fun. This is a good racquet but even after a few sessions the ping sound isn't great. Not sure if it's just my racquet, but even when I hit the middle ground the ping/sound drops out and doesn't seem to generate as much power as this racquet should. This even happens with a damper. To be honest I wouldn't recommend it to any mature player either unless you've had a similar style of racquet before because it takes a while to get used to and I can't guarantee you'll like it End. .
