6' leash which means it's better for larger dogs

6' leash which means it's better for larger dogs. The handle is soft and feels good in the hand. The rotating clasp makes it easy to put on and take off the collar. The contrast stitching makes me feel safer when walking in the dark. I also need something strong because jerks around me often set off firecrackers, which makes my setter nervous.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Sturdy, comfortable, well made

This is a good leash. Our leashes have been broken, our dog is big but shy and easily frightened (Rain! Help! Now we have to run home, I got a drop of rain! [runs away, taking us with him] Can't be mad at him , he's a lifesaver, if he's scared of everything there's probably a reason.) He's training his leashes, but this one's tough and tough. It's comfortable to hold, my hands are a bit sensitive due to mild arthritis, but I haven't had any issues with this leash yet. I like that the red color…

Comfortable grip sets this leash apart from others

A high quality leash. What sets it apart from others is the comfortable padding that provides cushioning when you hold the leash. Some other nice features are the reflective stitching and the rotating clip. It is bright red and 6 feet long. I can't find anything I don't like and considering the price (at the time of writing this review) it's good value for money. I have tried other Head Tilt products and have been happy with this brand. 5 Stars! If you want a nicely crafted leash with a very…

Quality Lead - Leashes

I have a 2 year old terrier mix who is boisterous and loves to chew on - and through - his leashes which have not held up well. After using it several times, I have to say I'm impressed. My dog does try to chew on it, but I've found it hasn't hurt him that much yet, so it definitely holds up better than other leashes I've tried. The 6ft length is great and the soft handle is much appreciated - it's very comfortable and doesn't pull or scratch my hand when it pulls on the leash. I haven't had a…

6ft Bright Red Dog Leash with Sturdy Clasp and Comfortable Grip

I am a professional pet groomer and have seen and used a variety of leashes over the past ten years. A dog leash with a comfortable head tilt is a durable and partially reflective leash. One side of the leash is reflective and the other is not. The grip is soft and comfortable for my hand when walking. I wish the leash had an extra handle around the neck because sometimes this is a necessary and useful safety feature. The clasp opens easily, doesn't stick, and feels solid and durable. It…

Thick and well made

I've used quite a lot of lye in my time but most of them have an expiration date. You can tell this leash is made to last. It is very well made, sewn on both sides and quite thick. There is padding in the leech's handle, which makes it more comfortable even when the dog is chasing the squirrel, although considering how it looks, it's not that comfortable. I also like that it's bright red to see it better. And for those who prefer to walk at night, there are reflective stitching to alert the…

Practical accessories for dog walks

My family has three small dogs and we have a lot of leashes. Cute hand painted leashes, industrial leashes, glow in the dark leashes, cheap leashes. Regardless - nothing lasts forever, and two years seems to be the average lifespan of a leash. The HEAD leash looks well made and durable, bright red with reflective stitching. In the winter I'll especially appreciate this reflective feature and I'm surprised most leashes don't have it. The handle has an extra layer of cushioning foam. None of my…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

We like it very much. I love bright red. It's almost self-reflective. Very easy to spot and we love it. There is a reflective stitching along the entire length on one side. Nice big wide stitches that really reflect. Like it a lot. Solid metal hook, moves smoothly. The handle is wrapped in something like neoprene, but I don't smell the distinctive neoprene smell. It really makes it more comfortable and grippy. And so too. One dog is 40#, the other is 70# and is doing both well. The larger one…

Very cool leash, simple but with great features

I noticed that a lot of my fellow reviewers have issues with the leash durability. I've never had this problem, I don't buy cheap linens, but I don't buy cute stuff either. You have to work. I have three resident dogs: a cairn terrier, a standard schnauzer and a chihuahua mix. We train dogs of all shapes, abilities and ages. When I adopt a dog and I can't afford a cheap leash, or a broken one, or whatever. We use linens on the first full day they are home. I don't know this adopted dog yet, if…
