I was really blown away by this device. The microphone didn't work out of the box. It worked for 2 seconds, then was silent for 5 seconds, then worked for 2 seconds, etc. This thing is generally unusable. This defeats the purpose of it all. Of course I heard my customers perfectly, but they didn't hear me. I sent it back within 2 hours of delivery. This thing is terribly bad. And as another reviewer said, this is NOT a Cisco headset. How can they even call it that? Talk about false advertising.

Purchased for use with a landline answering machine without a headphone jack. Didn't work with adapters either. The person on the other end said I'm talking like I'm a million miles away. Use it with an iPhone instead for my 96 year old dad with total hearing loss in one ear. It completely bonded him to the family. Now he can FaceTime with his kids in California. Conversations that he would like to end in a few minutes now take an hour because he can hear well and is comfortable. We love it.

I have 2 VOIP on my laptop: Cisco IP Communicator (CIPC) and Cisco Jabber. I bought this headset when I work remotely 2-3 days a week. I prefer CIPC but have found this headset works better with Jabber. I'll give you my feedback based on speakers, microphone, call quality, cable and comfort. How many adjustments have I tried.
