It integrates a red LED with an infrared LED, a photoelectric detector, an optical device, and a low noise electronic circuit with ambient light suppression. MAX30102 uses a 1.8V power supply and an independent 5.0V power supply for internal LED. It is used in wearable equipment for heart rate and blood oxygen acquisition and detection. It is worn on fingers, earlobes and wrists. The standard I2C compatible communication interface can transmit the collected data to Ar duino, KL25Z and other microcontrollers for heart rate and blood oxygen calculation;In addition, the chip can turn off the module by software, and the standby current is close to zero, so that the power supply can always maintain the power supply state. Great gimmick for entertainment

This thing was excellent, although I haven't compared it to a commercial device yet it's funny to see that after a few connections and some code it's really legible. Super cool device.

they work very well

these little sensors work very well. One thing to watch out for is a lot of software to use, basically rubbish. The good thing is that many people have written software to use the sensor in real world applications and that software works much better. One of the sensors was DOA, but the seller sent me a replacement almost immediately. I would order them again from the same seller.

Heart rate monitor works

Max30102 is a decent heart rate monitor but SpO2 calculations just don't work. I tried many different devices and codes, HR is good, SpO2 is not good.

Great fun keychain

This thing was excellent, although I haven't compared it to a commercial unit yet, it's fun to see that after a few connections and some code it reads really well. Super cool device.
