Mine was faulty best in exhaust and emissions

About 3/4 of the way there was a hardware failure and from that point it just fell apart and unraveled. As a result, I couldn't finish the exhaust pipe.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Hard to tell

This product burns!

Wrapped down pipe and after 2 trips it was smoking and had a horrible burning smell! I had to take it off and saw that it had burned out and would probably start a fire! I do not recommend this product. -5 Stars

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • too boring

Smokes like a broken stove. Don't buy

Diesel heater Wrapped the exhaust pipe and smoked me out of the van. I thought he was on time off. However, it would eventually catch fire. I bought another brand from a muffler store and it works fine now. No smoke no smell

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Little things

As described, worked great

I wrapped them around my short hoses on my Harley. Looks great, dries well. I don't know if it was the manufacturer or my experience, but when I finished this time I didn't have that itch. The bike is still being repaired so I don't yet know how they will react to the heat. I'll update if it's not perfect.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Great for wrapping the catalytic converter on my Jeep

Easy to cut with a large pair of scissors. Provides heat from the catalytic converter where the tailpipes exit the exhaust manifold next to the cylinder block and oil pan. Used JB Weld high temperature paste and stainless steel clamps to install in place. The past prevents the winding from shifting along the outer diameter of the two round coils.

Pros
  • Hold my fists
Cons
  • A chore

Decent price best in thermal film, mats and sleeves

Heed a previous reviewer's advice and dampen the film with water. It keeps flying fibers down, makes it much easier to flex around bends, and eases the effort of fitting snugly into the tubes. I would recommend using gloves, protective clothing and a disposable towel to cover the work area. Black paint will stain EVERYTHING it touches and will not wash off. I am satisfied with the product. I suggest the company send more stainless steel ties as the quantity provided only covers the simple top…

2007 F250 6.0L Recovery/Bulletproof

I installed this on my exhaust manifolds, top tube (Y-tube), down tube (4"), CAC tube(s) and cables. (new, doesn't need to be spliced) I'd say don't take a tool to tighten the tape, useless and even counter-intuitive honesty, alternative lifestyle pliers (ladies, as my dad called them) are perfect for winding and cutting on a hit. People said to use water, I didn't feel the need. Latex gloves and a tight set of overalls or paint suits will be the final step in keeping the air hose away from…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
