Great product, provides plenty of warmth for .

This heater sits under my desk in a very cold and leaky office, great product, puts out a lot of heat for a small baseboard, totally silent as no fan just convection.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Fantastic cabin heater Heaters

What a great little heater. Instant heating as soon as you flip the switch, quiet, constant temperature. It doesn't look like it will work when you first take it out of the box, but don't be fooled, this is a great little heater!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Negative impression

Feels empty but works quietly

I think the electric heater isn't that much. You pass electricity through a piece of metal and it heats up. Add switches and a cover so you don't touch hot or electrical things and you're done. There is no fan, which is a big plus for me as it allows the device to work silently. That's only 1000 watts, which is enough to get rid of the cold without blowing circuit breakers. If you're looking for something that can kick ass, you're going to need a 1500W unit.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • I'll add later

Waste of money for space heaters

I bought this to use in my caravan. If the description says it has a thermostat, I assume it turns off when it reaches a certain temperature. No, it doesn't (so part of the problem may have been my understanding of how that particular word was used). I woke up in the middle of the night in a sweat and had to turn it off. Of course I later woke up freezing. I tried not to use the noisy stove in the caravan. I dropped this heater on the itinerary of a trip I took earlier this year.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Update available

Reliable and quiet

I hate having to turn the heater on and off all the time. This one is silent. I have an 8x20 foot galley and this is the main heater for it. It keeps a good, constant temperature. I also like that it's low enough that I can store it under my bed so it doesn't get in the way. Yes, I know it sounds sketchy, but it's a built-in wooden bed, and the heater stays a foot from the tree. You must bake wood over 400 degrees to start a fire. You can melt some synthetics if you put them near this thing…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost never

Good, energy-saving (1000 W) heating.

Basement just finished. Despite good insulation, it only has one heating/cooling output. I have two other small heaters in another part of the basement on the same circuit and didn't want to risk overloading the switch. I set this heater on low (500 watts) about halfway between minimum and maximum, and the temperature in the room went from 69 degrees to nearly 72 degrees. I can actually dial it back a bit. I would like to emphasize that this 1000W unit may not be sufficient as the sole source…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • May damaged
