Good size warmer. Easy to clean but can be turned on and off. Doesn't light up all the time. Very disappointed as I responded to this to provide a constant source of heat.

I put a flannel pillowcase over it and put it in the pet house on the porch. The tramp has a cozy warm couch for the winter. I didn't notice any increase in the electricity bill.

My dog loves warmth and keeps him happy all night. The only downside is that the lid is pretty noisy and wakes me up trying to move it at night, so I wrap it in a big towel to soften it.

My outdoor kitties love this heating pad so I have ordered 3 more cats have shelter in our detached 4 car garage and cat houses. Heating pads are used in the garage in their beds with light blankets and on our covered porch with cat house.

This heating pad's ability to generate heat should be the criterion by which it is judged, but it is not. Instead, it is rated "Buyest" and "Soft". Regardless, I found the heating pad to heat up well the second time I used it. My advice is to give it more time to show its ability to heat up than the first time you use it. Having done this I am pleased with its ability to generate heat. It took a while, but it works!
