Very strong, thick metal

I use it on a metal stand for enameling metals with a burner. Much better than the reticle that originally came with my tripod. The enamel burner requires quite a bit of heat and the old fabric burned through in less than 6 months with relatively light use. I have found that I now enamel more often when I have a more reliable and heavier fabric available.

Pros
  • 1/4 inch mesh with 2mm wire.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great for heating

Purchased following Susan Leonart Kasmer's tutorial. The grid made it possible to heat the parts evenly and quickly. I recommend.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Excellent solder grid

It's a bit like a heatsink so you need more torch power but handles heat much better than the fragile version which can melt in use.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competition is here

Very strong, thick metal

I use it over a metal tripod to enamel metals with a flashlight. Much better than the reticle that originally came with my tripod. Enameling with a torch requires quite a bit of heat and the old mesh burned through in less than 6 months with relatively light use. I've found that now that I have a more secure and heavier mesh, I'm more likely to apply enamel.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
