Do not install cup at an angle!

Value for money. But the main dish doesn't have the angle that we need for our jeeps. That's the only reason we buy these adapters. The OTC adapter set has the right angle. Expensive, well. return of these

Works great on a 93 YJ, will certainly work on a Cherokee 97

is very easy to use, I saved about 1 hour last time I made ball joints without this tool. costs $32. I also bought an Astro Pneumatic Tool 7865 ball joint service tool with 4WD adapters. Both worked very well together

The material wasn't hard enough not to deform when pressed.

Bought this upper and lower ball joint press kit for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler. Upon receipt I only gave them a chance for the metal to warp in the process. I'm an engineer by trade, I know enough about what I'm doing not to intentionally confuse you. I was not impressed with the material used in this product. Also, the fit around the bottom ball joint was incorrect, about 1/4 inch larger than the ball joint, which I believe allowed the bottom shell to rotate during the removal process.

Does not fit JK Wranglers

Does not work on Jeep JK Wrangler. Detachable cups will work, but installation cups will not. The smaller mounting cutout is too shallow and prevents full sweating of the ball joint. it doesn't have the 5 degree angle needed to align the ball joint properly. And the protrusion on the back is too big to fit the hole in the ball joint press. Also the assembler does not work with Teraflex ball joints. It's too big and puts pressure on the beveled part of the joint. Called Teraflex and confirmed…
