Does not work on Jeep JK Wrangler. Detachable cups will work, but installation cups will not. The smaller mounting cutout is too shallow and prevents full sweating of the ball joint. it doesn't have the 5 degree angle needed to align the ball joint properly. And the protrusion on the back is too big to fit the hole in the ball joint press. Also the assembler does not work with Teraflex ball joints. It's too big and puts pressure on the beveled part of the joint. Called Teraflex and confirmed not to press this area. So what are you doing? I took a piece of 1.5" pipe, cut it at a 5 degree angle and about 1/4" to 3/8" thick. Separate it and then bend it wider to fit into the large power socket to fit so it's the correct diameter.Then I welded it to a small mounting adapter.This made the pocket a little deeper and gave it a nice 5 degree angle.Throw it on the lathe and straighten it, then flip it over and cut the tab on the back to 1.240" to fit the 1.250 hole in the ujoint press. Now let's adjust the cup top and bottom. To reach the bottom you need a pipe with an inside diameter of 1,300-1,500. 1.25" Schedule 40 tubing works fine. So I cut a piece to the correct length and then used it with a modified cup I made.
