Good quality, works great

Good quality, works great. Just buy metal spacers. They last longer and don't leak. As with manifold gaskets, a metal insert is used.

Cons
  • Hard to tell

Super easy bolt-on for headers and accessories

Required to fit a new 3" downpipe to a stock spool and this adapter works great when welded to the spool after an old VW downpipe goes out soda straw has been cut off. Very easy screw.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Pleat Pack

Screws are not suitable for assembly.

The adapter tube is too large to bolt to the manifold. You must use smaller diameter screws. Also, the screws that come with the kit are very short and you can't put lock washers on them. Just set those screws aside and buy other screws that are slightly smaller in diameter and slightly longer so you can attach the lock washers and align everything for installation.

Pros
  • Manifold and Accessories
Cons
  • Reliability

Well made exhaust adapters and parts

While searching for these I read a review on a similar product (different exhaust port size) that gave it a low rating because the outer race was not welded to the reducer. - Oh, it shouldn't be. The flat surface of the adapter mates with the gasket, not the outer retaining ring. Only welding is required to attach the reducer to the exhaust pipe. The included screws and spacers are more than adequate for street use and light off-road use. I recommend them to anyone who needs to connect a 3"…
