SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY THE BANK KIT!

One of the passenger header pipes touches the frame. I had to cut the kink and remodel the fuel filter heat shield quite a bit on the driver's side frame. The hardware is shorter than I would have liked, and I had to cut a slot in the Y-tube, bolt it to the header headers, and weld it back on to get it to fit properly.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

The collectors themselves fit. It wasn't easy to get in on the driver's side, but once bolted down they fit pretty well. The Y-pipe did not fit my 1989 f250 zf5 4x4 at all. Since I weld and assemble, I don't care. I was actually able to cut the Y-tube and make it how I needed it, so I think they fit. You only need a welder haha. I sandblasted all the parts and coated them with VHT paint before fitting as the paint they come with is not a high temp paint.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Can't fault it, everything is fine

Great titles - Terrible build and install process.

1996 F250 Crew Cab. 4X4 7.5L V8 E4OD Transmission. It took a lot of work to use these distributors. The screws were very difficult to insert and tighten due to the small bending radius on the individual manifold pipes. Heddman has to offer a 45 degree chute that needs to be removed from the original Ford manifold because it cannot be removed from the original manifold and the Ford costs over $100. The head bolts don't have much engagement and should be 1/4" longer. The hanger on the bent tube…

Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Check your vehicle specs first!

First of all this is for EFI 460, NOT with carburetor. There is a difference between them. The blocks are the same, but the heads and inlet are completely different. However, I used them in my 87 because it has the 95 f350's motor, hence the EFI unit. Installation was easy. I had to adjust the driver's side and gradually tighten everything. The brake line got in the way and also had to be relocated. The oil dipstick also had to be relocated. Right now the trans is a ZF5 with an e4od crossbar…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Can hurt
