Our city only collects bagged leaves when they are placed in compostable bags. My little shops in town didn't have them, so it was Revain. They tore at the seams no matter how carefully you filled them. The zip ties weren't easy to find - in fact, I had already packed a few zip ties, thinking they weren't included, before the zip ties fell out. I expected better quality and am disappointed. I managed to get my leaves into sacks, but it took a lot of extra work to repack the torn sacks.

Not to be used as lawn and leaf bags! We have just moved into a house with very large mature trees that are producing a lot of leaves that need to be removed from our garden. I have used these for several months for garden waste (weeds, clippings, leaves) and dirty kitchen compost. Now that NYC is composting all organic materials (even meat and bones!) I can only make compostable bags so I will be buying more even though they are way more expensive than plastic. They can withstand a lot, but are quite thin and cannot withstand branches.
