I think it should be more in the $10-$12 range but you pay for kitty, I think. My daughter loves it and that's what counts. It's not easy to program or use, the instructions didn't help my 7 year old daughter so I helped her and set it up but when she unplugged it to move it everything had to be reset even with the batteries. in. This is very cheaply made. It worked for about 6 weeks before the problems started. The first problem was that it only turned on at maximum volume. You could turn it down after "turning it on," but you had to crank the volume all the way up for it to start playing music through the speaker. After a few weeks, the mood worsened. Stations that arrived earlier usually stopped arriving at all. A few weeks later the ON button broke completely. so now it won't start at all. It's also very confusing…

First the good: The watch looks great and the night light function is spot on - a very soothing white glow from Kitty's headboard. The size is good, about 1/3 the size of a piece of paper, and it fits perfectly on a child's bedside table. There are two big problems: #1 is a function switch with three settings: (a) lights & clock on, (b) clock on, and (c) off.
