Helly Hansen Belfast Winter Women's Clothing for Women Review

I bought it for rainy winter days in the south (35-45 degrees). Some coats are too wide or shapeless. This fits well in size S/P and keeps me warm and dry. I love the dark olive color with the contrasting zipper. The length is below the thigh at my height of 5ft 2in. The longer length keeps out more rain when paired with rubber boots. I have enough room to add layers under the floor if needed. My shoulders are wide so the size XS was too small.

Everything is great. 4 days delivery from USA to New Zealand - impressive. The jacket is exactly as described. Looks great - very appropriate for this style of jacket, complete with zip fastenings and shaped stitching front and back. Of course you don't have to wear a sweater underneath, because with the Primaloft insulation it's so hot. Decent sized pockets. Good sleeve length and adjustable wrist details. The seams are very well made. The size corresponds to the description in the size chart.

I usually wear 2X / size 20w but I like a bit of space with a jacket so I usually take 3X in outerwear. I bought a Helly Hansen Belfast jacket size 5X and it is perfect. Excellent jacket. The Fit is beautiful and just perfect for an autumn visit to Iceland during the rainy season. The lining is warm but light and not bulky. I first ordered 4XL but it was very roomy. This is an amazing jacket. I'm 5ft 5in / 140lbs and the medium goes perfectly with a dress and a light sweater underneath. It doesn't go perfectly with anything bulky underneath, so I'd suggest going a size up if you want to do that. I'm very snuggly and dry and the pockets are particularly fabulous - deep and lined with something like flannel. This jacket is waterproof, but nothing more. There are NO inside pockets, but there are small ones. There is a small zippered pocket on the front. Don't be fooled, it doesn't even hold an iPhone 5 or 6. Also, my zipper broke after three weeks. I found myself slipping in and out of my jacket. It looks like the fabric was scored with a needle during production, causing the material to crack, resulting in waterproof failure.
